Who we are
Traveling Mercies, International, is a newly-organized not-for-profit humanitarian organization committed to bringing health care to some of the poorest regions of the world. We agree with the World Health Organization that health is not simply the absence of disease but the possession of well-being. All of the founders of our group have been involved in humanitarian care for many years. We were granted non-profit status in 2007. We are comprised of doctors, nurses, medical assistants, health lecturers, CNAs, therapists, and other professionals who volunteer their time and talents to help others.
Vision
Traveling Mercies, International, is organized for the purpose of helping others. It is dedicated to provide health and healing to less fortunate peoples worldwide, particularly impoverished areas. It goes where there are no doctors. Its goal is to teach the gospel and improve the health of individuals in remote areas.
